A grant is basically free money that the government or private foundations are giving to people and groups. A personal grant is a grant that is received by an individual to be used for personal reasons. These reasons can be many different things such as for the purchase of a new home, repairing a current home, paying rent or paying for school supplies.
There are numerous grants available and everyone who would to like one is encouraged to apply. There is nothing to lose; it is free money. The application process is a bit long and can be in depth but again, it is for free money. This money will never have to be paid back. Once you receive the money, you can spend it on the personal needs as you see fit.

There is nothing to lose by applying for numerous grants. You will be applying for free money; money that will never have to be paid back.
No matter what your financial status, you can still apply for a grant. Whether you have a bankruptcy, a foreclosure, or have a bank account full of money, you can still apply for grants. All you need is a use for the money and to fill out the application. After the grant is approved for you, the money is yours and the process is finished. It is as simple as that.
